I've since moved to a remote rural valley in northern California and volunteer once a week at the tiny library. I'm on hold while I get Let's Get Global off the ground, basing myself in DC for a while. But once I have enough funding to hire a coordinator, I'm taking off again....by then I will be 73. I have no intention of stopping...though I probably won't be climbing mountains. (I did go paragliding (tandem) in Peru a year of so ago. Had to run off a cliff. It was incredible!) I love your description of being different than most 72 year old, overweight women. You sure are and you are a great role model for me. I've done some adverturous things (volunteered in Kenya on my own for 1 year at age 59) I've found myself thinking, I'm getting to told for this foreign adventure stuff (now age 66) and your adventures and attitude makes me realize my age is in my mind. Thanks and I'll keep up on your adventures through your blog, while I "think big and start small" with my own adventures.
